If you have kids, a leather sofa is easy to clean and could last many years if treated carefully.
A leather sofa in good quality, get even more beautiful as years go by. Your sofa will probably arrive to your home in pieces or sections. It is advised to not have cats when you have a leather sofa.
There’s claws could cause serious damage on the leather. If you decide to move to a bigger house or apartment, there’s no problem to buy more sections and get a really large sofa. Or if you move to a smaller apartment, make two sofas out of it.

Leather Sectional Sofas - How to Clean Them
A leather sectional sofa just radiates style and class when it is in a good, well-kept condition. You can not use any old furniture cleaner on your leather sectional sofa. Cleaning your leather sectional sofa can prove to be somewhat difficult, but it you follow these helpful hints you will never have to struggle to clean your leather sofa.
All you need to do is to remove dust and dirt form your leather sofa using a soft brush vacuum attachment or a soft duster.
After you have removed all dust and dirt form your leather sofa you can polish it with a specialized cream cleaner. Use a super-absorbent clean cloth and blot the area with soft pressure.
The reason you use salt is because it will draw excess fluid form the stain. Blot the stain form the outside in with some lukewarm water. Only use blotting movements and avoid rubbing the stain, as these vigorous actions will cause damage to the leather.
After you have blotted with the lukewarm water, pat the area dry with a clean dry towel and leave to dry naturally. If the stain is oil or grease base, the only option you have is to blot the excess away with a tissue.
Get a professional to clean the stain. If you are in any doubt about what cleaning products to use on your leather sectional sofa, just read the manufacturers instructions that come with your leather sofa.
