Modern Sofa Tables

Sofa tables are a common piece of furniture in most living rooms as an accent piece.

Sofa tables, at that time, were behind the sofa as they were narrow and long like the sofas and settees. Unlike most end or console tables that are used for storage or beverages, modern sofa tables are usually for decorative purposes.

Modern sofa or console tables are probably the most commonly chosen style today. Modern sofa tables are no longer used for decoration behind the sofa. Many of the sofa tables you see today have gotten their origin from the Pembroke table of years past.

Many of the modern sofa tables are made of different types of wood. The main room you’ll find modern sofa tables in is the living room, but they also make great furniture additions in other rooms including the dining room, bedroom or family room.

Decorative statues, portraits, candles, centerpieces or live plants are some of the many things you may see sitting a top modern sofa or console tables.
